109
Hi, some progress on the seat rails. They consit of a combination of a H- und C-profile. First, I made a H-profil and sanded it to the required dimensions, e.g. it is now asymmetrical. Second, I soldered brass stripes of one side of the H, resulting in a C-profile. Added bevels and other shapes as required. Upper rail after soldering brass stripes to form the C-profile. Lower rail cleaned up after soldering. I had an interview last friday and was accepted for a doctorate as a sideline to my fulltime job. Hope to have some time for modeling once and a while ... Bye for now, Bernd. 109
Good evening, some work on the seat guide rails done: added the mounting brackets from litho and airbrushed the assembly in dark grey. Nuts and bolts will be added soon. Once done I can make the shoulder armor assembly ... :-) sandokan, Greg W, BiggTim and 9 others
