Bill_S
Progressing slowly but surely... The blue is a piece of an old Revell Corsair wheel, with plastic sheet glued to widen it. It enabled me to put the cavity in the wheel well also. Lots of sanding still to do; I'm in dire need of an abrasive cotton swab... Next up are the heat vents. The hoses are .015" solder tightly wrapped around .015" floral wire. Probably no more updates until after the server migration. Bill_S
Work continues, albeit slowly. Filled the recess for the nose wheel with putty, by eye it looks pretty good. The camera shows it still needs sanding. Some detail added the the pit... I filled in the recess in the cockpit sidewall prior to sanding. It's a good thing, too... Cockpit: And radiators for the booms... Some old Estes nose cones were the perfect diameter. mywifehatesmodels, Girlscanplay2 and EmperorKai
mywifehatesmodels
Looking good, Bill. Great improv using the nose cones for radiators, too. John
Bill_S
Thanks, John! I'm still looking for detail on the interior of the boom... In the meantime, some radio boxes. Yes, they're hollow, and they're square! Girlscanplay2

Bill_S
HGW lines rivets. This is actually the second set; a little heavy on the paint, and the first ones disappeared. Some missing rivets to touch up - I figure they wont be so prominent once I do a wash and spray with dullcote. Currently working on the Waldron cockpit. A lot of detail, much of it very small. Hopefully another update by the end of the week. Aluxe, Girlscanplay2 and EmperorKai

Bill_S
This Waldron cockpit is incredibly detailed, but the going is slow for these tired old eyes! Hours of work in, and nowhere near finished... Edited November 11, 2014 by Bill_S EmperorKai, xmh53wrench and mattlow
marauderdriver
I remember seeing Waldron Products Advertising in Scale Modeler, Scale Aircraft and then Fine Scale . That is Amazing , I'd be afraid that 3/4 of it would be wiped out b the time I got the build done. Work of ART watch'in you jack
