Dean.........sorry to hear your news, will miss your humour and who else understands the "the game"...... Like a Welshman.........

Hope it works out, been there with golf etc etc........but saying that had 14 years away renovating a C1550 house...finished that and bought a brand new house.......yes I got bored renovating every weekend.......so now back to the modelling and loving it, even though it's only at weekends.......come and say hello now and again........

Yep, it's all going. I think there are 60 WNW kits & about 150 others, all 1/32 props. Plus ridiculous amounts of after market - Eduard, Quickboost, HGW, Pheon, Aires, Master, CMK, Gaspatch, PART, G-Factor, etc - that will go as well.

When I've sold kits before, I've been sad to see them leave. This time it's different, I'm looking forward to them going, albeit not the actual selling process.

I've been there, and on more than just a few occasions. I start selling stuff off or giving it away, then invariably start buying it all back again. While there have certainly been times where I could easily see a possible future for myself with no kits, I could also see that the underlying passion, no matter how subdued, never really goes away permanently for me.

Perhaps stop buying stuff, but I certainly wouldn't sell off much (if anything), as the desire will more than likely return. Creative folks, usually can't just completely walk away from creativity.

My modelling has come to an end. I will be divesting myself of all my kits & modelling paraphanalia.

It's been a pleasure knowing you guys.

Hwyl fawr a phob lwc.

Hi Dean.

I was concerned, as were many others, that something was wrong.

I am relieved to read further that there is no health issue. (That's the first thing that always springs to my mind)

I tend to think if one does not enjoy something, one may as well do something else.

I always recall something Bertrand Russell said, "Time enjoyed is not time wasted."

Follow your bliss. And as others said, drop in and say hello. :)

Good luck in your new endeavours. :)

Modelling is good for hand eye coordination and helps to keep one sane in an insane world.
