Most probably my canopy will be close with intake cover and RBF tag, want to keep it simple, no trouble or fancy.... Will need to get more light next time...... Lars Befring
Hey! cool build! Might I suggest this as a splinter-inspiration instead? It is from the new Tarangus Kit and over at http://www.cybermodeler.com/aircraft/viggen/viggen_profile01.shtml you can find a suggestion on colors to use (I wouldnt go fully black on the darkest color tho! since it is somewhat lighter than the absolute black radome)
Daniel Leduc
Hey guys, I'm back...... Too many things happened at the job so I had to put my favorite hobby (beside cigar and Porto) on hold for a moment..... So let's put the turbo on that crazy project so I can ''Get to DA CHOPPA'' too.... And from there, while I was doing a What-If with a Revell kit (a not too expensive experimental project) I decide to give a shut at Doog's Black Basing technic, the subject is still hot and, why not!, so here I am..... Weird to have that big bird all black. Thanks Lars for the suggestion but I want to keep it simple and gonna stick with the Splinter so I can move on to the next GB.... it also gonna look nice next to my other Splinter Adversary TwoBobs Eagle.. See you soon.... Dan. vdvfv Lars Befring, Hardcore and cib2265

Daniel Leduc
Oh boy, and I tought everything would have been done in a day.................... For starting, I found that my black basing was a kind too dark, so I decided to shoot another coat but Nato black XF-69 this time and since I was going to use that color in my camo anyway, why not... By doing so, I think the transition between shade of green will end up a bite more smootly.... I hope and will see soon. My first step was to mask what section I wanted to keep black, Then started my pattern and shoot my pale green XF-5, one spot a the time. It sure take a lot of tape and eat a lot of towels but hey, don't have much choices with a model that big.... My first green is almost done and it almost took me a full day.... and not over...wow. Now need to mask the bottom and put some Nato black again to get a clean hard edge and finish my pale green XF-5. Should finish with that color tomorrow, want to let my black dry overnight so my tape wont damage the paint... Sure it's a long process, but that's the easiest one I found. see you, Dan.
