Well I got my fabric wings today from Grey matter figures :) , and man they are slick.I know that I already entered a F6F-5(N)

but when I saw these wings I just knew that I would have to build two planes for this great build.

I am using the Revell Hurricane MKII since the fuselage is the MKI and the wings will be scraped. I also have the old Warbirds Wheel bay, and the Watts two bladed prop, and an aftermarket cockpit.

I will post some pictures this evening once my camera gets charged (Thanks Honey) Pappy1

pappy,

Who's interior do you have? I've been looking for a couple to replace the kits'

Cheers and Thanks

Itch

I am not really sure,I bought it on Ebay but I'm not really happy with the detail of it so I have put in another order with Grey Matter Figures for their Hurricane cockpit.I am real pleased with the detail of their products and their fast shipping, 6 days to california.I hate to sound like their spokes person but I am pleased so far with their service...Pappy1

I converted the Revell kit into a fabric winger a few years ago using the Warbirds resin parts.

Did it with Belgian markings printed by LSP Ray

Beware of the weight of the resin wings on the plastic LG. It holds, but only just !

Here is a picture of the completed cockpit and the fuselage joined. One word of advise for anyone using the old warbirds wheel bay and the new cockpit is that large amounts of resin must be ground off of the top of the wheel bay in order for it to clear the bottom of the cockpit, and to allow the wings to join up to the fuselagepost-5839-1254590304.jpg.

Neal from the start of this build I knew I had to give Grey Matter Figures a shout and ended up getting the two-blade prop, fabric wings.I already have the cockpit form when it initially came out.If you run out of kit parts let me know,I have a bunch of them.Great work on the old girl...cheers...Dave
