My modeling while insane "In progress" report. :)

So today I have done a few things. These include breaking a foot pedal rest off a resin cockpit whilst happily sawing. Luckily I have the part and will glue it back later.

I also freed a seat from my first attempt at the seat belts I practiced. I need to clean up the paint work and install some belts that are now made.

I then "cleaned up" my Dragon 109E seat.  Looking at the close up photo, it ain't as cleaned up as I thought!

I then lost said seat.

Seat was later found atop a heater after falling from on high.

I then prepared some exhausts for experimental work in the painting and weathering Dept. Methods will include the use of my collection of pastels I just spilled everywhere. "Clean up, aisle 10!" Plus dry brushing, washing etc.

Should be fun.

The pastels, Gravity dislikes. :(

Thanks mate.

It was interesting when the Dragon seat dropped. I did not realise until later what that noise was. Happily I have 2 Aires E1-> 3 cockpits as well as PE. So I was going to steal an Eduard part for a Dragon kit.

It was really exciting.

Then I just found the original.

NOTE: Great story. Needs more dragons.  :hmmm:

I've begun experimenting. Here is a bit of it easy to get in shot. :)

I really like the Dragon exhausts even if a tad out of shape when compared to the others. At least they made an effort with open ended pipes. I wish to take that in a whole different direction so it just has the tan undercoat.

None of the below is complete. I am going to give everything a chance to settle down.

Any advice, criticism, helpful hints etc, very welcome. :)

Wow that is great!

Thanks mate. :)

Dale , here is one that has been on my mind for quite a while.

Me too. I have loads of Finnish markings including the large sheet by Techmod. I also have a mask for it.

Further update.

Not shown, Dragon E4 and Revell G6 exhausts. Each a dark iron base. There's loads of Luftwaffe stuff in colour that it made examining the pipes easier. I changed the Hasegawa from a base of rust to a darker metal.

A link to the 1st of a series of videos.

My own update.
