Daniel460
Max, Ian, I think that Russ send the plans to Rick (vvwse4) and not Lioc if I read that thread right? I would like to get a set also if they come available. Dan

Daniel460
This build that Russ did in the "Wings of the Luftwaffe GB" has a lot of great info. On page 2 post 44 he tells about the plans. This is his G-2 build. The man was not afraid to pull out a saw and cut things up and put it back together with amazing skill. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=20467&page=1 Dan LSP_K2
mozart
And it seems like he placed the most confidence in the Monogram Close up No.18 Bf110G4 book for accurate drawings. Max Daniel460

LSP_Kevin
With regard to how Russ came up with 1/32 plans, while I don't know the source of the drawings, I do know that, while he was alive, he co-owned a print/copy shop. He ran up a set of plans of his XF5U in 1/32 scale for me. Kev LSP_K2
airscale
When I need plans enlarged I just work out the scale wingspan and length (the real dimensions divided by 32) and give them to my local print shop (prontaprint) and tell them to reproduce them to that size. For my spitfire, I scaled them to the model so I could work from them without worrying about exact scale.. It cost £11 and I got two copies out of that Peter mozart

Max I found a few of those books on Amazon and ordered one. Hoping the plans are in 72nd and I have my local print shop enlarge them... imatt88
I have the Monogram #18 on my watch list. There are many of those books for Luftwaffe aircraft, I wonder if they all have scale drawings in them?
MikeMaben
Hey guys, the Monogram #18 has drawings on 2 pages that include both profile elevations (starboard with the engine seperated), top and bottom planforms and a head on view, but the are not scaled. I measured the wingspan on the drawing and they math out to be about 1/91 scale. If you take them to an enlarger, they'll likely want a percentage increase (not sure about that). If you scan the Mono18 drawing you'd need a 282.7% increase to get you to 19.99 inches which is 1/32 of the actual wingspan of 53'3.75" (639.75 inches). So you're looking for about a 20" wingspan on a 1/32 scale drawing if you want to round off to an even number. Hope this helps, double check my math (I knew you would ) mozart and Daniel460
