Happy to see that one is appreciated. It seems the low price of the kit resulted in a lot of sales but the documentation about the plane is not prolific and the number of built kits is rather low in comparison.

By the way, I will have to release a version 1.1 as I found another problem: the shape of the main landing gear doors is noticeably incorrect. The most obvious error is the fantasy squared step in the front edge of the bay. Unfortunately, all photoetched sets copied the shape of the kit parts to detail them rather than offering accurately shaped ones.

This is a great one and I have bookmarked this link.  I have collected most of the available aftermarket stuff

(doesn't somebody make resin wheels?) but figuring out the MiG-17F afterburner nozzle still escapes me.

You're welcome! Profimodeller makes resin wheels and the Eduard set has a part for the exhaust nozzle.

I have this (also one for the MiG-15) and they are very nice!!

I have both also. IIRC, G  Factor legs are the same for both........Harv

Greymatter produced a corrected exhaust!?! Are you sure about that? I have never seen such an article anywhere...

Bruce Radebaugh (of parts r parts) produced an exhaust. Armoury are to release some superb wheels soon.
