dutik
Carpenter dutik at work: The drivers chair. Very oldschool modelling: styrene, lead foil, copper wire, punched out bolts and rivets... Regards - dutik The1971Show
dutik
More interior details. There is a collection of handwheels in front of the driver. Added the first ones and the support for the other ones. Will paint them first before adding the other ones, to reach into all areas. dutik
Short break on this one due to supply problems. Was at a exhibition to buy more bolts from the manufacturer. These were made by MR Modellbau of Germany. There are a lot of bolt heads available on the market, but these were made from styrene. Easy to glue with styrene cement (used to hold them in place and to add a drop of Tamiya thin cement) compared to resin or PE ones. But the mold is damaged beyound repair, so no more supplies. Have to look for a replacement. MENG offers a line of injection molded bolt heads. Set A should be the right one. Will place an order next month, when my wallet has recovered from the exhibition Regards - dutik
