Dr, Jones! Dr Jones!      Twas worth every penny of the $75 we spent for 20 or 30 min with the old Tri-Motor. Really great fun, and a PERFECT visibility day. Not too hot either!!!   Vids at the end.

Very cool!  Is that an original or one of the 1990s new builds by Kal Aero in Kalamazoo?  They (at least used to) own the type certificate for it.

This is one of the original 1925 Ford Tri-Motors, owned by the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio, and leased by the EAA for these types of flights.  LOADS OF FUN!!!

Beautiful.

There must have been a hell of a lot of noise from those three engines - have your ears stopped ringing yet?

Indeed there was. A GOOD loud though.

The 2nd vid is a tiny taste, but way cooler sounding in person
