The IP installed in the cockpit:

This is the last time the cockpit can be seen.

The canopy came next. The fit is not that great.

It was a bad decision years ago to leave the canopy loose.

I fixed it in place with wood glue.

and added the decal in front of it.

It turned out to be too wide, so I had to cut it in three pieces to make it fit. :thumbsup:

So that's even more touching up to do.

 

Now I have to paint the line on the belly and add white stripes to the edges of it.

After that, it is touching up time.

Now THAT'S a beautiful paint-job Peter! :bow: Whooooeee, I can see why you weren't looking forward to starting on something as tricky as that! :speak_cool: What a cool paint-scheme. Really looking sharp dude! It's all down hill now,eh? Can't wait to see what that monster engine looks like fixed to the front! :speak_cool: Go Peter Go!

It is totally obvius that the great paintmasters were DUTCH it shows in Peter`s work :frantic: :frantic:

I think i`m gone send my Gee-Bee to Peter for the paint-job :evil_laugh: :evil_laugh:

Many thanks for the compliments en the encouragement!!

David, I think you can very well master the colour scheme of the GeeBee :rolleyes:

 

Not much progress until today.

The wing struts are on and gaps are sealed with white glue.

Pics will follow later when also the engine is worth showing. :evil_laugh:
