  1. Hi Bob, I will search for the pics and share them for sure. ...even when it´s only 1/48 scale...
  2. Bob, the B-24 is still on the shelv - blame on me - but there are soooooo many great kits out there now.......
  3. The pipes are made of copper wire. The Eduard Parts are indeed flat and not really better than the kit parts. Bodo
  4. Hello, it took me one year to finish this kit and I tried to build it as correct as I could. I used quite a lot of after market stuff, such as the Eduard BIGED, the Avionix sets for the Cockpit, the wheels are Eduard Brassin for the B-25, the engines Brassin for the Corsair. The oxygen bottles in the wheel wells are 3D printed. The markings are painted and the nose art decals are custom made. I hope you like it! Cheers, Bodo

  6. I just shot some photos of the progress of my Black Widow so far. I choose the Brassin P&W engine supposed for the Tamiya Corsair and the Brassin wheels for the B-25. All photoetched brass is Eduard too. In the back of the wheel well you´ll find a solid wall in the kit, which the real aircraft never had. In that place you would find oxygen bottles. Mine are 3D-printed but will be replaced by some finer printouts later on. Every critics are welcome Cheers, Bodo
  7. Hi, all painted interior parts are in place and the fuselage halves are closed. Next will be the clear parts. All the best from Germany, Bodo
  8. The green is interior green from xtracolour, primed with black. Then I applied Mig´s Dark Wash and slightly drybrushed with the interior green again.
  9. Hello, I managed to paint most of the interior of the main airframe and even shot some pics of it. All the best, Bodo
  10. Barry, the PE is Eduard and I didn´t use any other PE on this kit. The barrels are profimodeller, the wheels true details. The cockpit (which you can´t see on the photos) is avionics. Bodo
  11. Hi everybody, my current modelling project is the Hobby Boss P-61 Black Widow. I am trying to built her as an "A" model. I am not quite sure which colour sheme I will use as I like the od/neutral gray versions as much as the complete black ones. Maybe I will go for "Skippy" aka "Nocturnal Nemesis". I bought every aftermarket stuff I could get, which is quite a lot. The first stage of building is now finished and the next step will be painting the interior before closing the fuselage. Yesterday I took some photos of the unpainted model at this stage. It is not very easy to find reliable resources of some areas of the plane. It is also sometimes confusing what is an "A" or a "B" version because the different resources have different opinions. So, I tried my very best to build an accurate "A" version but sometimes I had to guess. Please let me know what you think about it. Cheers, Bodo
  12. Thank you for your kind words. I used ModelMaster and Humbrol Enamels and Marabu matt varnish. For the washes I used Schmicke oils.
  13. Hi Kevin, sure you may publish it. I have some more pictures but unfortunately no WIPs. Bodo
  14. Hi, here are some pictures of my just finished P-40 as a Kittyhawk of No. 112 Squadron in Egypt. I used the Eduard BigEd and an Avionics P-40E Cockpit. The harness is the fabric one from HGW. All markings are painted on and the whole airframe was riveted. I hope you like it. Cheers, Bodo
