My Mosquito project, stalled a bit because of the B-25J "Old Ironsides III" project

A lot of research went into this project, getting the details right...

Hi Kent! I must confess that I was very sceptical about this additional perspex in the nose. I rather believed the hole was nothing but a damage repair section until I found this pic today. Very cool start on your Mossie! Will keep on watching with interest!

cheers

Chris

Thanks, i did a lot of research on the FPU's in another modelling forum - I'm doing a FPU (Film Production Unit) Mosquito.

They participated in many of the 'Gestapo Hunter' raids, the one in your picture Chris, is DZ383 (? 'Query') photo taken on the day

aften a raid on the Gestapo Headquarters 'Shellhouse' in Copenhagen on 21.march.1945 (Operation Carthage)

I have chosen to do the DZ414 (O 'Orange') which also participated in the raid in Copenhagen. But also the attack on the

Gestapo Headquarters in Aarhus (only 20 km's from where I live) on 31 October 1944. It also participated in Operation Jericho

similar attack on Amiens Prison in France.
