Thanks, Jens!  The white wash was applied using Mr. Color White thinned down about 60/40 thinner to paint ratio.  This was applied over the standard 74/75/76 finish.  I had the needle almost all the way closed and built up the paint very slowly and inconsistently to simulate a worn finish.  After the paint was applied I hit some if the areas with a 3600 grit sanding square to simulate wear/scuffing of the paint.

Thanks for the description, Mike. I will try the same approach once I get to do a winter scheme.
