alaninaustria
Thanks Peter! Was able to get a few more hours in at the bench!! Glued the fuselage halves together and cleaned up a few very small areas: I was happily surprised to see how well the major subassemblies went together! The belly of the beast: I learned through trial and error many years ago to always glue a back plate in when using PE screens!! They have a tendency to fall out after being glued in!! Where she stands today... Temporary legs made using extra sprue runners and the forward clear plastic sidewalls glued in! That's it for today.... got an early day ahead of me tomorrow! Catch you later!! Cheers Alan Edited October 29, 2014 by alaninaustria Girlscanplay2, sandokan and mywifehatesmodels

alaninaustria
Thanks Gentlemen! Really appreciate the feedback! I'll be having some metal gear cast shortly for this build and some masks made too! Does anybody know if there are any aftermarket stencils??? LSP_Paul
Alan, You could get a set of decals with stencils from ZM on their website. Looking great, Paul Girlscanplay2

alaninaustria
Hello everybody! Just a quick update! I took the plunge and decided to buy videoaviation.com 's LAU-3 rocket launchers! They are beautifully mastered and cast! When it comes to removing delicate parts from pour stubs, I prefer to use my RB fine tooth saw! Works great and allows me to accurately control the cut! More pics to follow! alaninaustria
Another quick update direct from the workbench: A close up checking out how the prop fits! Weapons load out: Mk 82 bombs Overall weapons: LAU-3 rocket pods, ZUNI 5" rocket launchers, centerline fuel tank, and SUU-14 munitions dispensers... Close up of the SUU-14 munitions dispensers... Slowly but surely coming along!! It took me an entire evening to unlock the mystery of the multi part exhaust ducting!!!!!
