this is lovely work i have to admire your knowledge of what things are on the engine and the correct colour to render them in-either that or you have a d7 in the garage

-great name as well by the way-there arent many wolfs in scotland

Another thread that slipped under my radar

 

Wolf - this is seriously fantastic work. I especially like the fine detail in the cockpit. Usually we ( I ) emply techniques that result in something that create an illusion of reality (drybrushing edges of boxes for instance) but looking at that cockpit I dont see that. To me it looks like the real deal - just shrunk. The stitches, the leather on the chair...

 

And the finish on the exterior is superb too. Restrained weathering but very realistical.

 

Wow - just wow !!

 

I think I need to do a DVII with the amount of rigging I see here (or lack of...) - my LVG rigging is driving me nuts.

 

At first I read the headline as Anthony Fokker finished - now what the h... is that all about ?? :-)
