  1. Attacked by 3 x 109s, lost your wingman, and you're still flying straight and level?! You're gonna get kilt! Who comes up with the boxart?!
  2. I do, but anything you might have that would help I am - that was part of the motivation behind getting this progressing again.
  3. Progress happening slower than I would like, as only able to do between the paying job and family stuff Rear cockpit Rear instrument panel and coaming Front instrument panel (not complete and coaming will follow)
  4. It sort of is. It requires me to finish the CAD. Taking a little longer than planned, but there has been a lot of progress and a change in design philosophy on my part. The ladders have been released under Phase Hangar Resin. The cockpit will be under Flying Leathernecks.
  5. If the kit age being over 25 counts then I'll jump in with the big Hasegawa OA-4M (released in 1987), posted elsewhere here, as I'm trying to get the cockpit CAD done, to be able to actually progress this again
  6. Lynn has been involved in the development of this kit for some time already.
  7. It's all about perspective and relativity. If I was earning Euros and buying in Euros at that price, comparatively it's a lot cheaper.
  8. Here is a good primer that touches on some of the issues from Chuck's great build. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/262693-132-trumpeter-a-10c-hog-putting-lipstick-on-a-pig-of-a-kit/&do=findComment&comment=2492209 My own build in progress with the Squadron vac https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/91571-sows-ear-updating-backdating-correcting-and-detailing-the-trumpeter-132-warthog/&do=findComment&comment=1316088
  9. Dave isn't talking about the mould flaws, he is referring to the framing issues - both the windscreen and canopy shapes and framing in the Trumpeter kit are quite wrong and pretty well documented. Squadron/Falcon did an updated vac-form set some years ago which fixed the issue. Let me see if I can find the info you need, but would be good if you could actually do corrected items instead of just cleaned up kit items?
  10. Last weekend to get those orders in for this one. Kotare have just posted a cutoff of Sunday night
  11. For those not aware, Kotare have made an announcement about an offer of the model for those attending the US Nats. Head over to the Kotare Models Facebook page for full details https://www.facebook.com/kotaremodels
  12. Don't know what stores load you are planning, but I've designed accurate 1/32 3D printed Python IIIs and F-15 launch rails, which are now also available through Mike over at Phase Hangar Resin. https://phasehangarresin.com/collections/32001-1-32/products/32015-rafael-python-iii-missile-2 Note that the adaptors come with the correct style LAU-7s attached as well. https://phasehangarresin.com/collections/32001-1-32/products/32016-python-iii-pylon-adapter-f-15-eagle
  13. I completely removed both tabs - the ones you label A & B. They get in the way and cause bad fit
  14. For those who may have missed it, Kotare Models have posted a hints and tips sheet on the website to help you get the best out of your Spitfire build Link here https://website.static-files.net/uploaded/a2d0dabf-k32001 kotare 1-32 spitfire mk.ia mid hints tips v1.2.jpg
