Daywalker
How can you take a shot of something that's not there? Special camera? I think he is referring to photos of the Avis kit.

seiran01
Ok just heard back from the company and they say this: "This is an updated set Avis. Completely redesigned wing. Photo etching and new decals added." Kagemusha, Uncarina, dutik and 1 other

Rick Griewski
Being British, I shall patiently join the Wingnut Wings queue for their D.VIII. The internal structure is too clumsey and large. I will continue on with my Falcon vac kit. A few relevant decals for the camo and mucho AM including, IIRC propellers and engine from WNW or vector and fire wall from the Roden DVI. There are stitching PE sets. I need to find or make some wire wheels. Talk like this is intended to prime the pump for a WNW. oyoy5
AVIS kit is a rough build to say the least..........Wing is rough and fuselage is horrible. Out2gtcha
Bill_S
I saw a thread on another forum that dealt with common terms that annoy people. Pretty interesting stuff, really. The big three for me are; modulate, dot filter and replicate, that's why I so seldom (if ever) use them. For me, there's just one: Thingy. LSP_K2
For me, there's just one: Thingy. Interesting. That one doesn't bother me at all. Many of us have our pet peeves, I suppose.
seiran01
LOL, my main bother is "short run kit." I run the other way screaming most of the time LSP_K2
Hubert Boillot
So this thingy promises to be a quick-wipe of the old tool Avis, that will require the application of dot-filtering to modulate the colors and replicate the original flying razor's apperance, and all of this without facing the benefit of colonic irrigation ? You guys lost me, I'm afraid Hubert tucohoward, Kagemusha, mpk and 1 other

seiran01
I feel like this plane is the Flying Ockham's Razor - the simplest explanation was that it was a retool, and sure enough...!
LSP_Mike
OK, re-pop. The Avis kit is a very workable kit. Out2gtcha
