I'll finally pull my finger out and get a build posted on here, couldn't say no as it'll be in memory of my Dad who died a little over two and a half years ago, he always liked the Thunderbolt in this scheme...

I'll be using the Trumpeter Razorback, Montex Masks - which sadly didn't include the unit logo, so I'll be sourcing a decal for that, Master barrels, Contact Resine wheels, MDC seat - and maybe some other stuff from their cockpit set like the IP, I'll also be scratchbuilding the dingy packs and smoke dispenser - I have the, ahem, 1/48 Loon Models set as a reference. It'll be displayed on a grass base together with a very nice Ultracast pilot...

and in memory of Floyd, a beautiful, loving Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier who died in October, the Andreas Miniatures English Bull Terrier from their Five O'Clock Tea set - I bought a few of these separately

It'll be a while before I get started, but want to make the commitment to give myself a kick up the rear, I need to suss out how to use a couple of Nikon digital SLR's I inherited from my Dad, and I'm about to start a major piece of work which will be quite time consuming.

I have always liked the 5th ERS Jugs and am planning to build one at a later time using the Hasegawa 1/48 kit with the EagleCals decals and Loon after market stuff. Good luck with your build! I look forward to seeing it.

Come on Kage, it's been "a while" so here's another kick in the pants. Let's see this thing, I'm lookin forward to it. Great choice on the Ultracast pilot, I think they do the best casts of anybody that I've seen so far, true quality there. Which Nikon do you have?

Cheers Joe :coolio: got a couple of Nikon D80's, have made a bit of a start on the figures - even managed to break the pilot's fag, oh joy, so have filed the remainder away and will be replacing with a short piece of carbon fibre aerial, from Accurate Armour.

Fag being British slang for cigarette... ;)

Will post some pics in a few days... :help:
