I'm not a predominantly 1:32 builder, and I don't even have the Trumpeter Crusader, but the RF-8 does appeal so much I am tempted.  It helps seeing a conversion kit to such a high standard...

Look how sleek and purposeful that thing looks, like it really means business. It looks fast even standing still. I am truly impressed.

Yes indeed, the nose LG leg is shortened, and yes, the G kit will have provision for differing camera windows and lots of lumps and bumps. Those nasty afterburner cooling scoops are getting the treatment too.

Take the "E"....

So the F-8E will cover both the RF-8A and RF-8G?

Just as a side note Paul, as the canopy came out so well, would you and Chris consider a collaboration for the A-7 correction canopy?

Paul, I have a technical question regarding the windshield+canopy:  From my earlier wandering into your website, I noticed your master for the windshield/canopy had some sort of shiny/polished White paint / coating (?) on it.  Could I ask what that is? Actually, would you mind sharing how you made the windshield/canopy Master so smooth?  I'm trying to create my own spare vacuform canopies but I never seem to able to get the master smooth enough.

Thanks for any advice.

Ahoy there, I have written up a blog post on my website dealing with the joys of clear resin, it's a bit long, so I put it there instead of here.
