Hi folks,

Just got the RF-8A up on the website, finishing up the changes for the RF-8G set now. Eli is feverishly working on decals so we're off to the races! Thanks so much for your patience, there's more to this beast than you might think at first glance, so as usual it took longer than I thought it would. new cockpit, two bang seats, new fwd landing gear and wheel....Lots of goodies in this one.

Best

Paul

Thanks Paul, didn't know there would be PE included. Great news indeed, hopefully I'm down to weeks waiting on a way to build one of my most favorite aircraft.

Happy Friday, Gents !

Here's a few pictures of the RF-8A test build, this is from production castings to make sure it works...don't have the clear camera bay windows  out of the oven yet , but you get the idea. Almost home!

Paul, i noticed that the RF-8s have 2 different camera window configurations. Will the -G conversion have a different window layout, so one could build either kind? Or is the kit somehow configured to cater to either version?

Not complaining here; i'll find a way to make it work....

The fuselage looks superb Paul, but have you shortened the front landing gear leg? It still looks pretty long to me. I shortened mine by about 5 mm back then.

Regarding camera window configurations - there are way more than just two. RF-8s were very individual aircraft, you'll have to check your references when building one!
