Bf 109 G-10.

Hello!

I have just started Hasegawa's 109 G-10 and I wanted to do a WIP that's a little different. I am posting pics as I complete each step of the build and "attempting" to make it a fun way to show how my build will come together. Here's a taste of what I'm doing on my blog page where you can see more. Any feedback, good, bad & ugly will be welcomed.

That's an interesting approach to delivering a WiP thread, Darren. It does have one major drawback, however: folks who rely on assistive technologies (screen readers and the like) won't be able to access any of your descriptive text, as it's bound up in the JPEG images. It's possibly easy to dismiss this as an issue by saying blind people don't read modelling forums, but the range of people it can affect is far broader than that (dyslexia, poor reading comprehension, non-native language issues, etc). Besides, the most important user on the web is blind: Google.

Anyway, apologies for what probably ended up sounding like a rant (not intentional!), but I have a professional interest in the accessible web, and the whole text-as-images thing is a major problem.

Looking forward to what you can do with your build though!

I have to admit that had not occurred to me Kev, I will have a look at resolving that issue.

Hey, proceed in your preferred mode, Darren! I certainly hope my comments didn't come across as a criticism, as they certainly weren't meant that way.

Not at all mate. I asked for feedback! I was just thinking how can do what I want to do and be inclusive of folks that use assistive technologies. The only thing that comes to mind is to take the text out of the jpegs when I post here and perhaps post a link on my blog page to this thread for those who want to read the post through assistive technology. Just an idea...........

In the meantime, I hope to crack on with my 109 and hopefully entertain, inform and amuse with equal measure. :beer4:

Hello!

I've done some painting on this build and this time I'm using Mr. Hobby acrylics. This 109 G-10 will be wearing a RLM 74/75/76 scheme. Here's some pics of what I have done so far, for more details you can check out blog page with the link in my signature.

All the best,

Darren.
