Yes. Want to build her as "909".That's the one I flew in.....Harv

Me too! I guess there is some difference between the war time bird, and the one we went up in though. Waist gun positions maybe?

I see a 12 year long project in your future.

Just kidding, Harv.

Kev, you have a typo in that statement, you meant to say 21 :)

I remember them being staggered, but have to check my references. AFAIK, it was the closest to the original of all still flying. I do have pics and need to dig them out. At least we won't have to deal with the hundred or so signatures on the fuse........Harv

Yes! yes! Yes!

I paid a hefty but still acceptable price some weeks ago to get the big Air Britain bible book about the Sopwith Pup. I never thought I would find easily the others about the Camel and the SE5A but discovered the Aviation bookshop was still selling one of each for the original price whereas the books are only available online for three digits value price!!!

Useless to say I immediately ordered them... The best part is that what I hoped to be in the Camel book is indeed there: the engine type is given for the different production batches of the various manufacturers!!! So, even if engines were sometimes changed, I will now be able to identify the probable engine type from the plane serial number!

Yepeeee!

Less than 50 Euro; 50 with s/h. I consider this a good deal :)

Resin sets were not included, but part of my stash. Now they are resting inside the box too. Winter will come... :tumble:
