And wow! - that's blue!

 

Ford Monza blue, according to the rattle can

 

I thought the lid of the can was a bit too light, not sure now - it's growing on me

It's a nice blue, but looks too light compared to the actual a/c on P.1.. even with a bit of scale effect...

Not a problem. Once it is in my display case I will destroy all my printed pictures. So no one can compare...

Jimbo, excellent and generous member of this forum, let me have the Gypsy six engine from his Encore Blue Max Pfalz. Clearly the Gypsy six is a much bigger engine

In other news, Bob von Buckle's trusty carrier pigeon dropped off some eyelets and tubes today, so I'm all set up for rigging

Some extra fitting still needed around this brass rear cowling ;)

I went a bit further. I flattened it out and used it as a template to make a new one
