Thomas Lund
Yup - good group build topic.... I'm in. Time to finish this one. A 'Anything but out of the box group build' 'survivor' This is how it looks today Original build thread here : http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=45279&page=1 Although I did post something 3-4 months ago a build time of over 3 years make me declare this as on the shelf of doom... bdthoresen
I was just wondering where this build was. Looking good Thomas, especially what you started with! Carry on!THOR Thomas Lund

Thomas Lund
Allright... I'm not dead. I am still working on this one from time to time. Gotta get it finished before the ZM Ki-45. Anyway I'm sanding away on the exterior - I really really really loathe sanding. For that simple reason I will never do a vac again. I THINK this is the last bit on the wing/fuselage/nacelle sanding odyssey.. Meanwhile I've gotten some brass tubing and I am planning how to do the main gear. This is the first sketch, out of scale and proportions - simply to show the parts and to be able to note down the dimensions as I nail them down. Alain Gadbois
Hi Thomas, Seems to be a problem with Photobucket (surprised?) now, as no photos are available... Shaka HI
Thomas Lund
Holy s*** they want 40 USD / month - they've gotta be crazy Anyone know of a good alternative ? Harold
BradG
Holy s*** they want 40 USD / month - they've gotta be crazy Anyone know of a good alternative ? I use Imgur now. Much easier, no ads that tie everything up either.
Alain Gadbois
Yes, Imgur works for me too!
Thomas Lund
So... changed to Imgur and it seems to work fine. But I can barely cope with the thought of changing all my links in all my previous builds... Harold
Thomas Lund
Ok back on track I spent the day working on the gear, building it from a couple of copper pipes and rods. Feel allright with this, although it needs to be detailed a bit with some styrene. The retraction arms etc will be in styrene, only this one I wanted in copper because of the strength. Rick Griewski
The resuscitation seems to be going well. I have the kit and the wheel wells defy my brain. I need to handle the nacelle shape and the wing first. Keep going. Rick Thomas Lund
