Saab J29A Tunnan in 1/32

I finally completed my 1/32 Saab J29A Tunnan. The basic ID Models / Tigger vacuform was the basis but it needed a lot of scratch building.

Talk about the proverbial sow's ear and silk purse ... :bow:

 

Beautiful job there Meindert ! I love the Tunnan. In fairness, even though the drawings are a bit conflicting, I came to the conclusion the old ID vac was a bit shallow in fuselage depth, and subsequently filed mine vertically (hear : binned it).

 

Yours still give the impression that the fuselage is not thick enough, but I can very well be wrong. My remark does not in anyway detract from the praise you deserve for getting this one to the end, with magnificent results on top :goodjob:
