mydesign
I finally completed my 1/32 Saab J29A Tunnan. The basic ID Models / Tigger vacuform was the basis but it needed a lot of scratch building. Check out how I made the rudimentary vacuform at: https://designer.hom...32/j29-32-1.htm or go directly to the page 5 to see the end-result.... https://designer.hom...32/j29-32-5.htm Hope you like it and inspires modellers to do make a J29 in this scale! Hubert Boillot
Talk about the proverbial sow's ear and silk purse ... Beautiful job there Meindert ! I love the Tunnan. In fairness, even though the drawings are a bit conflicting, I came to the conclusion the old ID vac was a bit shallow in fuselage depth, and subsequently filed mine vertically (hear : binned it). Yours still give the impression that the fuselage is not thick enough, but I can very well be wrong. My remark does not in anyway detract from the praise you deserve for getting this one to the end, with magnificent results on top Hubert
Zero77
I already said it in another thread, but this is truly impressive to achieve such a serious result with sio many details starting from simple plastic sheets...
