hi guys, anyone who knows the differences between these 3 types of tyres?

std

type 1

https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ARAW32501A

type 2

http://armoryhobbyshop.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=47033

do they refer to specific versions of the Tornado (GR.1, IDS, ADV, GR.4, ECR etc.) or specific timeframes?

many thanks.

thanks guys... I've noticed that Res-Im is 3 grooves and Armory type B is 4 grooves, but in all the photos I've seen of Tornado wheels are 3 grooves, Dunlop tires (Gr.4 and F3 included)

just got a quick reply

with the caveat this is for the RAF only

all aircraft (f3, gr) were initially given the 4 ridge Tyre, however there were a series of blown tyres when the gr1's upgraded to gr4 (put down to extra weight) so at each service the remaining tornados were retyred to the 3 ridge which had an extra weave of steal in it

so..... depending on age f3's could be either

early gr1's would be 4 ridge, late gr1 and gr4 have 3 ridges

hope that helps
