RLWP
The wheel bays are by Alleycat too? Richard Edited April 6, 2018 by RLWP BloorwestSiR
BloorwestSiR
Richard, they're the stock kit parts. PCM include resin bits in their kits for some parts like the cockpit, wheels, wheel bays and exhausts.
RLWP
Ahh, thanks I'm trying to work out a shopping list for a PR IV from a Revell MK.II, wheel bays are on the list. It's looking like the Eduard photoetch or nothing ATM Richard
BloorwestSiR
Glad I could help Richard. I wonder if getting the corresponding sprue from a Tamiya kit might work? If you want to try route and need the sprue numbers, let me know.
BloorwestSiR
Once the wings were dry, I was curious to see how they would fit to the fuselage. I taped up the fuselage halves and did a quick dry fit. Looks fairly reasonable to me. Which is great since I have two more in the stash to build. Haggis9444
How did this build turn out? I used the same fantastic PCM kit for my PR XIX but I didn't have the Alley Cat conversion.. https://flic.kr/p/GGXtL8
