krow113
...heard it on the grapevine, Tamiya is going to offer a new kit in their 1/32 scale range. I think it may be a Hurricane. Anyone else? is it windy yet?
SinuheH
Hurricane would make sense, as they have all those nice RR Merlin sprues to use......
jacksdad64
I would guess at an FW190. My reasoning is that they have so far released kits that they already did in 1/72 and 1/48. Also they would be able to do an A and D using common parts. Or maybe its just wishful thinking on my part. Steve Kahunaminor

Rowen
Personally, I hope it is a Hurricane. I am totally tired of all the 109's and 190's, etc. Something new and different, please! -Ro SinuheH

Brad-M
Don't think they can use the same series of Merlin from their Spitfire kits for a Hurricane, but I'd love it if they did do a Mk 1 Hurricane. Brad
Wolf Buddee
Don't think they can use the same series of Merlin from their Spitfire kits for a Hurricane, but I'd love it if they did do a Mk 1 Hurricane. Brad Have to agree Brad, the Merlin in the Mk IX Spitfire differed quite a bit in detail to that of the Hurricane. Tamiya would have to invest a lot of money to make the necessary changes and complete new tooling would probably be cheaper. Definitely will be interesting to see what they do come up with though. Guest Dekenba
A Hurricane would be marvellous, but it's more likely to be a Corsair - the world needs a quality Corsair 1/32 kit. I'm going to plump for a.... Mosquito. Now that would be something special. Saber
Kyrre
I'm pretty confident it'll be a Corsair. The Hurricane market is too small. But oh, a Mosquito ... that'd be something.
BarryWilliams
Why is the Hurricane market small? it is a icon of the Battle of Britain and the market would be no smaller than that for any other of the major WW2 fighters. A Corsair would be good too, but a decent Hurri, that is really needed. krow113
krow113
The Hurri market isnt small to me , I think a mainstream 1/32 like the Tamiyas to date would be a good seller. I have the excellent PCM kit already as well , limited run is scary to mainstream buyers.
LSP_Paul
If it has to be a "new" kit, I would REALLY hope it's a new Corsair! Man a Quality F4U would sell as well as thier mustang for sure! Paul Daywalker
