mark31
On a carrier, swepped back. Not sure on land.....harv Thanks Harv but what i also found after some reading is that the crew didt the same things on the ground Because to keep the routine from the carrier deck And im planning land base Mark
reconspit
...yep, in the parked position the wings are in the „over seep“, so far more back than in the maximal backwards swept flight position... ;-) mark31

Phartycr0c
Whenever I see that pic I always think that the plane is manually signalling for a right turn. BloorwestSiR, reconspit, Dragon and 3 others

r0t0rdr1ver
Mark, I've seen Tomcats parked in various configurations, and if you wish to model one in this configuration, you can. It's not usual to see them parked this way, but also not unheard of. I've even seen them parked with spoilers and speed brake deployed. modelman182, mark31, Kagemusha and 1 other

Love that the removed main u/c wheel is leaning up against the tank while the fitter gets the new wheel in position. Copied that to my Tomcat folder as a 'potential' future diorama. Thanks for sharing that Kev A-10LOADER

Dave Roof
I have several personal photos that also show both configurations. You'd be correct regardless of the position you put them in.
