HADman
Hi Guys, I started renovating a MiG-21 F-13 Trumpeter that I received from a friend, he was only building 1:48. I removed the smaller parts and then sanded the whole surface (since it was already painted). I removed the soaked surfaces of the production so that it was completely smooth. I polished in several steps and then painted with the Gunze 1000 Surfacer. I'm here now, and since the air intakes have already come, soon I can continue the project. Some picture from the building periods... after the firs sanded... Lucky that I found our Mach-cone set for MiG-21 UM kit... This is same like MIG-21 F-13... and good the fit too and I saw that the nose wheel is not on good place... I must to turn it... ...after the second Surfacer painting: I wish make a Hungarian version In the new condition after the big repair. Unique silver painting + varnishing was the typical painting in this drummer. and the original plane... this is a museum specimen after a long time stay... HADman
A little progress, but very much work... I have polished and painted silver (aluminum) three times, but I've always found scratches somewhere ... The hell in this silver color, they make all the mistakes ... Alcad last time scratched the plastic ... so it's coming fourth painting - of course in front of 1000 Gunze Surfacer ... and a black base. This colour was the Gunze Super fine silver ( it is very shine for Mig-21...) I placed the QB air intakes too... And with Alcad Aluminium: Edited September 17, 2017 by HADman tucohoward, Seversky, jgrease and 4 others
