Although he swears it's not the case, I'm beginning to wonder if Russ (ruzlkampf) has a bunch of elves helping him. He sure does crank out completed builds, and all of 'em look fabo!

Here is his Trumpeter P-38 sporting a great set of markings,

In progress here!

TimW has just finished his Trumpeter E.E. Lightning F.3 kit which looks great! I'm a little confused 'cause the thread was started by KOTR but the kit built by TimW... shrug.gif

Anywho... In progress here!

Next up is.... Russ! This time taking the Trumpeter F8F-2 Bearcat kit and transforming it into the Reno racer 'Conquest 1'. We don't see enough racers around here but Russ has made up for it with a real stunner!

And in case any of us who didn't finish one build don't feel bad enough already... Russ has finished another entry. In four days.

This one being a Bf-109K with a fictional scheme that looks fantastic!

Rus passed away many years ago, but yes, I beileve it was. Russ gave or sold away most of his builds after finishing them. Not sure what happened to this one

Haha i live in a normal house. The first plan is to build a flying model, with a small bird at its boom. Yes it will be a large scale plane, but a B-17 or a B-29 even a Super Connie are large scale planes. So this would be not impossible. I like the build of the guy that build a C-17 and a Kc-10 in the 48 scale.
Indeed with a good 1/72 kit as a base and some good blue-prints and some parts of a manual it can be done. I think.
