GrahamF
Hi All, I've just drawn up the decals for the aforementioned kit and It will do the MK1 and MK2 versions, I was going to include the two prototypes plus the Kings air race decals and the Pakistan decals. Trouble is all that just fits onto A4 and ramps up the cost so I'm considering just including two FAA options 800 sqn Mk1 and Mk2 [ which is just a canopy change ] Am I correct in thinking that most would really just do the Fleet Air Arm machines anyway? Any thoughts? Regards Graham Iain, sandokan and Zero77
LSP_Kevin
Graham, how about splitting the decals up into 2 sheets, including the standard FAA set in the box, and then offering the others as an aftermarket purchase? Failing that, I would default to just including the FAA markings. Kev Rick Griewski and Zero77
GrahamF
Thanks Kev, Yes I was mulling that one over! At least then I could order a smaller batch of the other decals. Graham LSP_Kevin, Rick Griewski and Zero77
Scotsman
Fleet air arm for me , this is one I will be getting - and if you're looking for suggestions for FAA subjects - may I humbly beg you to consider a complete Seafire Mk47 kit .. pretty please...! BloorwestSiR
The Seafire 47 is on the list... That's great to hear Graham. Any word on the Griffon nose for the Tamiya Spitfires? Carl Kagemusha and Alburymodeler
GrahamF
That's still being drawn up, I've been working on a film this year so I've had to 'juggle' my time, but its finishing for me now, so I'm back on task. Ali62
Hi Graham I know the dilemma, I often had similar problems when I owned and ran my Alley Cat range. Too often I got caught producing too many decals for too many options. I agree with Kev or another option I would do the Air race, Pakistan option and 2 FAA options, if those could all fit onto one sheet. If not then just release operational ones with kit, and really gauge if an additional sheet is required for the other options. cheers Ali Anthony in NZ and paul fisher
wunwinglow
FAA for me too. And put me down for an FR47 as well!
Royboy
Yep, FAA would be my choice too! A 1/32 scale late Seafire would go down very nicely I think, as well as a Scimitar! We also need a Tilly so please consider that one as well. LOVE the starter cart!! Cheers.
