mikeew
Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words, Larry, For the Hunter instrument panel , i got the effect by spraying it black first using Vallejo model air colours, then i dry brushed it using Humbrol light grey matt enamel to highlight the fine raised detail. I picked out the details with the various colours following my references and added the few decals included in the kit. To get a "glass" effect in the dial faces i dropped in Humbrol Gloss Cote, a couple of applications gives a nice effect. The same technique was used for the cockpit tub too. I employed a slightly different technique with the Tornado as the base colour for the instrument panel is grey rather than black. So i sprayed it grey first then washed it with an enamel black wash to highlight the raised detail, picked out the various dials in black then dry brushed the raised detail within the dials with white and then used the Humbrol Gloss Cote tecnique as on the Hunter.
