LSP_Kevin
I'm not much interested in the F-16, but that red, white, and blue demonstrator is absolutely stunning! Kev r0t0rdr1ver
Dragon
One of my favorite prototype schemes! Will be watching this build too. Mike r0t0rdr1ver
Daniel460
Great start. Won't be much of the kit left with all that AM! r0t0rdr1ver
ClumsyDude
Awesome!! I think I built this one as a kid, but we are talking >30 years ago so the memory is a bit fuzzy. Will be watching it for sure! Jim r0t0rdr1ver

r0t0rdr1ver
Not much to report. The kids have kept me busy this week. I've cleaned up the resin intake and have fit all the pieces together. The surface texture inside the intake was quite rough, so some work to get it smooth. Only minor work to get it to fit in the fuselage. The exhaust has been cleaned up also and glued to the kit parts, I added some styrene onto the kit part to give the resin part more surface area to 'bite' onto once glued. Started closing up the gun bay and was pleasantly surprised by the very precise fit of the parts here. I've also finished dry fitting all the cockpit parts and hope to start slinging some paint soon. r0t0rdr1ver
Afternoon Gents, does anyone make a 1/32 Stencel ejection seat that would fit the bill here? Maybe Harold? Perhaps a 1/32 SJU-8 or SJU-4? Not sure which (if any) would work. Edited November 10, 2016 by r0t0rdr1ver
jenshb
The original Hasegawa kit does provide a Stencel seat...what's wrong with it? Jens Derek B
r0t0rdr1ver
Wish I had more to post, but it's been so busy lately. I've decided against using the resin wheels from Dr. Pepper Resin, the quality of the casting wasn't great, so I'll be using the kit supplied wheels with the brakes hacked off and added from the resin wheels. r0t0rdr1ver
I've tidied up the resin exhaust, which was a bit undersized. I ended up shaping the kit parts to make the appearance much more acceptable, and also added some shims to improve the fit to the kit itself. Not too shabby! r0t0rdr1ver
Cleaned up the access panels. Fit here was excellent, apart from one panel that needed some card stock to fill a slight gap. r0t0rdr1ver
Checking out the kit seat. I think I'll end up using a resin SJU-4 from Aires which is very close in appearance, but offers much more detail.
