the HB bulkhead fits good, will have to remove the bottom to fit the engine mount.

    P937412_zpsfejiale7.jpg

   thinned the side cowling panels

   P937413_zpsuom7i7is.jpg

And the HB fuselage frame #12 in place

    P937414_zpskaiesz5i.jpg

the aileron hinges, we marked were they are with tape

Thanks to Maru, Shawn, Phartycroc and mozart.

Come to think of it, taxation with representation isn't so hot either.

I like what I see Art, though to paraphrase one of your sig. quotes "I am confused and don't understand the situation!". Can't get a handle on exactly what/how you're planning the model. :)

This is looking like a nice hybrid, I'm surprised that the HB and Hasegawa parts fit so well.

Cheers

Well, some trimming was needed on the HB frame. The Hasegawa fuselage is thinner towards the top.

this is the Hasegawa windshield on the Hobbyboss fuselage.    I like the Hasegawa fuselage but don't like the HB fuselage, so.....

But Hobbyboss has some good bits and bobs and the control surfaces are separated so thus a bash!

I am just using the Hasegawa fuselage and wing, and then throwing in whatever I like from the Hobbyboss kit. If your confused that's easy to understand, so am I.

  P937414_zpsvotlizny.jpg

we cut out the ailerons on the Hasegawa wing and fit the HB ailerons because the HB ailerons were already separated. and then marked were the hinges are with tape.

  P937415_zpsxuw5acab.jpg

 P937418_zpsbdvu5qk3.jpg

these just show how we mark the hinges on the wing first, then transfer the hinge line to the ailerons, the ailerons are not glued together.

  P937419_zpsfg7q1uv1.jpg

and then make the slot for the hinge

 P937416_zpstl8pj77p.jpg

we start with a dremel and a wide cut off wheel, then we use a very small file to cut the slot.

   P937420_zpsxxlzhksz.jpg

and then we add some hinges, they are overlong but the correct width.

fitting the flap section on the upper wing, need to mark the hole for the flap indicator. The red dot marks the spot for the indicator

  P937426_zps7pxpxkid.jpg

a trial fit of the RH aileron, not to shabby
