...from the Hasegawa Ki61 build - which is awaiting the first exterior coats - by a couple of armor campaigns over at Armorama. I am still involved in one which ends this month (AFV Club kits), but I completed the Big Cats IV (any kit with a feline name) and the Sd.Kfz 250/251 by the edge of my teeth.

So here's what was so much more important than an LSP:

Dragon 6326 1/32 Sd.Kfz 251/2 Ausf. C mit 8cm Granatwerfer, OOB with Tamiya acrylics, AK/Mig weathering products, graphite pencil.

This was followed by Dragon 9045 1/32 Panther G, also OOB except I made the tow cables. Decals reacted to the wash even with a seal over them, so it was either too thin or not cured enough...

Beautiful sdkfz, except for this

Bundesarchiv_Bild_101I-316-1190-27%2C_It

the thickness of the mortar tube needs a little adjustment. I don't want to be a pain in the butt , but it's a bullseye feature and it doesn't take much to drill it out.

Panther is very pretty :) indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Martin

Well, I finished the Panther with time to spare, so I started on this:

Cyber Hobby 9144 1/32 Pz.Kpfw VI Ausf. B with production turret, OOB again plus PE screens as the kit came with none. The kit represents a semi-fictional 332 attached to s.Pz.Abt.501 in the Ardennes, 1944. A late war vehicle released in red primer with a 3-tone scheme applied.Threw in a new-from-the-factory barrel in primer gray for s#!4s and giggles.

Then, I finished the King Tiger. Already had a Tiger I and a Jagdpanther, so now I needed a Jagdtiger.

Dragon 6045 1/32 Jagdtiger with Porsche suspension. Yes, OOB. I think I meant this to be the 9th or 10th chassis built. Don't 'member.

Nice! I really like the 251 too, and really want the Dragon kit with the huge rocket launchers on the sides.

I believe you refer to the Sd.Kfz 251/1 Stuka Zu Fuss, which fired a trio of rockets from large framework "tubes" on the sides. I have one of those plus another TEN versions waiting to join the three variants I have now. One of those three I just completed not ten minutes ago. Pictures coming before the clock strikes midnight. In the Eastern Time Zone.

This one, yes. I had one, but then sold it, and I've wanted another ever since, and will possibly grab one later this year.

Do you by any chance have a copy of this book? I have several others on these vehicles, but not this one (not yet, anyway), and I hear it's quite magnificent.

Very cool indeed. A personal favorite of mine, and I'm so looking forward to getting the 1:16 kit later this year.

I do not. I just have some Osprey and Squadron stuff and a few bookmarked sites.

OK. The book (as is the case with most Ryton titles that I've seen), is supposed to be a wonderful publication, and I'll hopefully be getting my copy this year sometime,... finally.
