karimb
Wow, that's an amazing first try at WW1 model building ! You were not sparing with details ! Very nice build and finish. I'm happy to see you entering in the wonderful world of wood and fabric aircraft, my friend ! That wooden propeller is just hypnotizing me.... Nicolas! Thanks for the kind words ! the wood and fabric world has indeed pulled me in lol its just lovely how everything ties up colours, materials and fabric on the airplanes of that era! She looks tiptop now in the display cabinet! Zero77
karimb
Love that band, too ! BTW, you're asking for criticism. That's difficult to find something to be criticized in your model, but i think the board/plane between the wheels is made of wood and not metallic. Music is an important part of the building process for me lol Yes it was wood, i airbrushed dark gray and chipped the gray... i should probably have done the board in wood and then chipped the wood instead of chipping in gray! Good call my friend! Zero77

karimb
Just a gorgeous build, Karim! I mentioned the pre-shading in your build thread, but apart from that, there's absolutely nothing to criticise on your model. It's wonderful! May I publish it on the website? Kev I'd be honored Kev, publish away! Preshading looks a bit too stark as you rightly said! Thanks for the kind comments my friend!
karimb
Karim my Friend Absolutely a knock out. Geez, just spectacular.
