News just revealed the submarine is nearly intact. Only the front has been damaged, probably by a mine. She was found in shallow waters (30m), close to Oostende. The German authorities have been informed because it is quite probable the bodies of the full crew are still inside (all hatches are closed).

Makes you wonder if it is still dry, though I doubt it, even a weep would have filled it by now, if dry it makes you wonder the state of preservation inside, no oxygen or low levels of it, dark and cold.
