Uh oh Ron. You might have just made me decide to keep my extras. Now I gotta build one of mine. No fair!

Ron, you'll need to check references for the fuselage planking and the cockpit instrumentation. Apparently they used a flying reproduction with modern cockpit instrumentation as the prototype for this kit.

Actually, how big is the Fokker? Is it larger then the Felixstowe?

I think the wing is about as big a span, but the 1/8 DR-1 has got to be almost 18" tall!

Holy Cow; that's 35.43 inches and a wee bit smaller then the Felixstowe. Seems we are really getting into the arena of LARGE Scale Models.

Thanks Guys

I was playing with my DC-6B and a Super G, and even those itty bitty scale models are bloody huge.

Agreed; super large but super beautiful. I'm still banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how and where I would display my Felixstowe before immersing myself into the build later this year.

Ron,

Great to see you started on the DR1 so quickly.

Will be following your build along.

Is that a 1/32 DR1 on the box in the first pic?

Larry

Yes it's a 1/32 Dr-1 for reference.   Thanks for selling me the kit Larry, I am going to enjoy it.

As for size, it's 33" wide x 28" long.  Ernst there are quite a few errors in the fuse that I will be addressing assuming I can find some thin ply.
