PietvWdV
This model is very well done! I like your weathering, it is very realistic to my eye. Way to go!More pictures please! Piet
bsarnoffca
Thanks Piet. The next round of pictures will be of the aircraft in the diorama with figures, then pictures of the next project the Hawk 75 interior and modifications to convert the Trumpeter P-40. Your Spitfire came out very nice. There certainly are some great posts today!!
KOTR
Looking very good. Good build, good paintjob, nice weathering. I like the french camo, looking somewhat different.
bsarnoffca
Thanks Kotr. The three color French camo with red white and blue tail is really colorful isn't it.
PietvWdV
I have recently bought this Azur kit (we should all support these smaller companies who do 1/32 stuff!) and I am saving this entire thread to HD as reference. That French camo is very pretty. Who would have thought those colour combinations could work! All the best Piet
bsarnoffca
Piet, I agree about the small companies. They have the MS406 and Hawk75 out in 1/32 don't they? As for the French camo scheme...given the outcome, maybe it didn't work.

pennausamike
beautiful work! The color scheme is colorful but not over done. I did a Ki-43 Oscar once that was so colorful it looked like a circus plane. I stripped it and re-did it in an overall green... I really like the scheme you chose and the fantastic execution. I also agree with the sentiment of trying to support the smaller companies that release less common subjects in 32nd scale. Mike
