Hi guys,

I finally finished this one

Overall it's nice kit and great value for such a low price.

painted with Mr. Color, Alclad II and Mr. Paint, weathering done with MIG prod. and AMMO of Mig Jimenez stuff.

AM used:

               Eduard interior and exterior sets

               Brassin wheels and prop

               Zoukei Mura decals

               HGW seatbelts

You can find WIP thread here

thanks for looking and all comments are welcome  :)

Superb workmanship, Jan. It's a pity that you chose to close the main gear central doors. Your wheel wells with the Edouard AM in nothing short of outstanding!

One small thing though. The order of the recognition lights on your model is not correct. The correct order (leading to trailing edge) should be red-green-amber.

Kind regards,

Quang

Thanks Quang for the advice, you are absolutly right and I am ashamed

The main doors should be closed. On newer aircraft it took longer for the hydraulic pressure to bleed down and the doors sag.
When you see Mustangs these days, some bleed down quickly, others sag slowly.
If this was soon after an engine ground run, that look is 100% correct.
Agreed it would be nice to see the workmanship, though. :)

Agree with you Ernie  :) generally I like the look of Mustangs with main doors closed
