crobinsonh
For some reason I did not take any photo of the underside painted. Here we are at the masking stage. And now we today I have been working with the camouflage. I worked the colours to look weathered although the spattered effect was a little to obvious. I did tone this down with micro mesh afterwards. Now onto the green! Lenny320, Shaka HI, johncrow and 9 others

Fancherello
Very nice ! Lots if tiny variations, some are soft, some are crisp, definitely the kind if balance I like ! Cant wait for the greens ! crobinsonh

crobinsonh
Moving onto the next stage. Again using Gunze Mr Color paints (as with all the painting so far). A couple of mistakes to clear up along the way. I do love the brutish looks ofthe "Hun". I used Mr Sol to dab the model in areas of high wear after the metallic undercoat but before the camoflage painting started. Then just rub the model with a cloved hand and it all comes off nicely. crobinsonh
Nearly there - the dark green is now on as well. Next stop pulling off the masking tape to see what mistakes have been made :-) This was using Gunze Mr Color paint that I bought in a squadron sale around 17 years ago. Still worked fine for me. johncrow, LSP_Kevin, MikeMaben and 4 others

crobinsonh
Disaster strikes - I removed the masking tape and was feel pretty happy when I decided to drop the jet from about 2 feet nose first onto a wooden floor. Resin nose broken plus numerous cracks suddenly appearing Cracks in the wing joints Again wing joints PE bits for clips etc pinged off Momentarily I thought about just junking the whole project. But after several minutes of calming down I realised that I love the Hun too much and really want to finish it. Resin repair kit out next... Troy Molitor
Please continue. I agree with everyone else. Besides you certainly have the talent to fix her up in no time. Use two hands next time, however! Lol. Looking fantastic here with a minor set back. Troy

Fancherello
Painful time, but i'm sure you'll succeed in the recovery. A deep breath, and fight is on. ( Do you hear the Survivor/Rocky3 music ? ). A step back is a good start for a higher jump ! Harold
