This is magnificent and makes we want to pull my Tamiya Phantom out of the stash.

Many thanks for the link! Great camera work, and serene reflective music (unlike some of the tripe on other videos).

Interesting to reflect that the F-4EJ first flew at the beginning of the 'seventies, and that the newest is 36 or so years old. Wonder how much longer they'll be around?

A pity Tamiya never tackled the RF-4EJ Photo-Phantom in 1/32 - would look great in the recent two-tone wavy sea blue scheme.

Thanks again,

Tony

That is one of the best videos I have ever seen.  Aside from everything that could be model related, and in HD, which is great, that video was shot at the same relative speed from start to finish, allowing your brain to track everything at once.  That was fantastic.  Thanks a heap for sharing.

Sincerely,

Mark

Very cool!  The Japanese LOVE their Phantoms.  I've spoken with several JASDF F-4 pilots and even 30+ years ago, they thought they could wax any MiG's tail anytime :)

For all the odd angles on that beast, it has a definite elegance when it takes to the air.

Thanks for sharing.   Really, really well done video without all the stupid rock music you see/hear in 90% of the other fighter jet videos out there.  This one was elegant

Cheers,

Chuck

The F-4EJ also got the two tones blue scheme. Well at least one squadron of Kais got them. This was the topic of the Wolfpack conversion set.

I like very much Phantom's, but sorry to say, just not these. I only like the F-4B/C/D/J/N/S examples, and off course the British ones, but not the ones with the canon chin pod.
