So no Japanese members?

And where are all the Canadians? I know there are more of us than that. Time to stop hiding. :coolio:

Last night. Had a little music jam in a field.

Conclusions: We'd starve to death.

Dang I thought I'd grow out of my square Teutonic noggin, but it's still there.

I see what looks like an empty Mason jar in front of you, Ernst;... corn squeezins?

No talkin'. :)

Lets just say that any that may or may not have been there upon arrival were not there upon departure.

My happy redneck life. Living up to all stereotypes the world has of Texans.

Edit: Just got word that our lap steel player, a man who's been a great friend for many years has just slipped into a coma and has 24-48 hours to live.

Heartbroken.

And on my knees in prayer for Dave to go easy and peacefully into His waiting arms, and also for peace and comfort for Dave's family.

That does make sense, keeping it handy like that; otherwise he'd have to get up and walk, which might or might not be possible after a while.

Hello there!

I've been lurking around and watching this forum  for long months, even years maybe...
Decided to sign up at last.
There is no publishable photo of me around at the moment, so I'd rather like to introduce myself.
I'm 45 years old aviation fan from Bratislava, Slovakia.
I used to make different types of models as a youg boy.
But I've been diverted away for many years by other aspects of life.
That's quite normal, I think.
Few years back I've found a way back to this hobby.
For objective reasons paper models arrived first.
You can see some of my creations here on my home forum:

Beside that I've some more modeling projects running, including some computer 3D modeling, as 3D has been part of my job over the years.
And I need to develop my small working table into some serious workshop so I'll be able to make some more serious things.
I have few of these on the list, so I hope I'll also contribute here soon.

So, I'm glad I'm here. Keep modeling and posting, please.
It's always pleasure to see your work.
I promise I'll produce som picture soon.

Juraj

PS: I plan to visit Telford this year, for the first time. I'd be glad to meet you there in person.

Hello Juraj! Glad to meet you. I am truly fascinated by paper modeling! I have dabbled with it a bit, but may have to try it sometime on a whole model. Looks very cool!

Hi Juraj!  I'll be at Telford this year as well and hanging out with Iain and some folks at his table.  Look up the Telford message thread here for the details.

Best,
Chris

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I've just posted in the Telford thread.

And I have changed my avatar into my photo.

It's like 10 years old though, so you should expect more of grey now...

And also here is my flickr gallery:

Might be of interest to some of you.
