Part Wash Tray Tip...

Recommended Posts

My wife likes this new line of single serve, frozen dinners:

These dinners are in two parts, a sauce part in a lower dish, and meat and/or pasta in a steaming tray. Once you have ate the food, you end up with a great 7"/18 cm tray for cleaning small parts!

I haven't tried putting chemicals such as BlecheWhite in them for cleaning resin parts yet, so if anyone does, let us know. They are microwavable, so will take some heat.

If they have a recycle symbol on them and it's either a two or a four, you're good to go.

I looked as I was going to include that in the tip, but I did not see any.

When I get back from Seattle, I will dump some BlecheWite in them and see if they melt, burst into flames, or whatever.

Update: I took another look at the trays: it was hard to see, but they are both recycle labelled as a "5".

From Wikipedia:  "5" signifies polypropylene (PP) (auto parts, industrial fibers, food containers, etc.)
