Tony T
There was a thread a couple of weeks ago... http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=68757 Personally, I'd really like to see a sheet for the metallic dark blue and gold 75th Anniversary of Naval Aviation F-4S, and some teasers from HKM concerning the FG.1 Spey Toom. Dave Williams
Got mine today. Nice, but you need references. Although the sheet is pretty comprehensive and you get a stencil placement diagram, you're on your own for figuring out the camo pattern. They list the colors, but note that the exact pattern varied aircraft to aircraft, and even over time as the same aircraft was repainted, so they say to check your references. My feeling is that not everyone is necessarily going to have references, nor buy them, just to use this sheet. Realistically, finding enough photos of the same aircraft from different angles to be able to exactly replicate the camo pattern is likely going to relatively rare, so they will likely be some guesswork even with references. That said, I think most modelers would expect a basic pattern, even if not 100% accurate, rather than be expected to look up references to use decals.
