Danny, What a wonderful looking cockpit......the woodwork, the linen, just everything looks spot on!

Brilliant work indeed.

Regards. Andy

Thank's Andy for the nice reply.

I'm planning to do a whole serie of wood grain color mixtures and make a color chart of them with their mixture formulas. In that way it is easy to get the right wood grain color.

JUST got this kit!  After getting the two Camels I wanted, this one was on my list, and when SB.com got it in  I jumped on it, not knowing when it would become OOP.

Really great work so far Danny!    I have not looked the kit over that much, but looks to be typical WnW kit, and this is making me want to break it out again.

Great work on the wood pieces.

Thank's Brian.

Totally agree with your purchase Brian. The Fee is a great kit, you will have lot's of pleasure building it mate. Did you get the early or late version??

Same as you, early version!   I liked the all black night fighter a bit, but not any of the other late schemes as much as I liked the early ones.

Today i made some progress on the Fee.

Time to glue the bottom armor plate onto the fuselage

This was already painted in a black primer coat and today i painted the iron coat on it.

Next step, the landing gear. I dry-fitted each part onto the fuselage and glued only the part's together.

After the glue dried, i removed the landing gear from the fuselage to ease the painting proces.

The early balcony machine-gun mount was also glued together and afterwards removed.

Finally i made an early start on the 120 hp Beardmore engine also.

Awesome progress Danny.......your build has made me begin to think about buying one of these myself!

Regards. Andy

Thank's Andy :speak_cool:

You wouldn't regret it if you buy a WNW kit. :)

Danny,

Super progress. I'm almost speechless how well the kit is engineered.

Joel

Thank's Joel, :speak_cool:

the kit-par's fit's like a glove, like all WNW kit's.

Great progress Danny. You're doing a scheme with the small nose wheel i take it. The beardmore is going to look fabulous as the rest of your build and im looking forward to you starting your magic on it!

Stay safe and model on my friend

Looking forward to it as i have placed an order on the MRP linen color line to see how i like it... I can say nothing but praise concerning the MRP paints and hope the hue of the linen products turns out nice (will help me in avoiding mix and match of tamiya for linen colors lol)
