blackbetty
thanx guys, it means a lot to me.... did some more work on the speedbrake the new cover is on the bottom with the louvers cut, the kit part still shows the multiple holes the new version has
blackbetty
next i made some reinforcements left and right of the louvers on the inside the kit part is too much curved, i will bend it to make the louvers fit inside
blackbetty
the holes are now sanded off and the kitpart is much thinner after drying time i will try to fit them together later karl
blackbetty
thanx Maru for watching my build i wasnt happy with the HVARs, even with the ZM version, especially the fins. so i drew some in illustrator and had my plotter cut them from .5mm sheet. the cut doesnt go through the material all the way, so you have to pop them out and lightly sand. (these are too long, i know)
blackbetty
this is a prototype on the left, the exhaust needs some improvement, but i think its a lot better than the ZM part on ther right Edited January 18, 2013 by blackbetty
blackbetty
the two parts of the speedbrake are joined, some cleanup work to do, but i think it will do
blackbetty
on a lot of pics of korean war aera bombs the yellow bands seem to be painted on by hand without the use of masking, using a pretty crude brush. so this is what i did:

Hubert Boillot
I knew you'd be missing cutting plastic, after all this time reshaping your MiG 29 ! Great work Karl, but remember you wanted a "relaxing" subject .... Hubert.
