This thread will be my bible for my T-28B build!

I worked on the T-28B and C aircraft when I was in VT-27 in Corpus Christi, TX during the 70's.

I'm not sure about the Pensacola based T-28 squadrons, but we left the pilot's parachutes (NB-6) in the aircraft, so when I get to that point, I may give that a shot.

Welcome Mark!  Thanks for the kind words..................the kit is fantastic and fits REALLY well. There is a according to Aires at the US NATs a few weeks back that there is a full T-28 cockpit coming, to add to their already produced T-28 C prop (although IIRC its labled as a "B" prop) speed brake and exhaust.

Brian,

Thanks for sharing this! My Mom flew T-28's in the Navy, and I plan to build one in honor of her. I will take notes!

Cheers, Tom

Was your mom an Instructor Tom?

I was stationed at NAS Corpus Christi in VT-27 from 1974-1977.

I was a Parachute Rigger, so I came in contact with all the instructors and students on a regular basis.
